who am I?
I exited college with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (big mistake!?!?) and no idea what I was going to do next. I was a (bad) salesman, a sawyer (didn’t actually know what that was till i got hired to be one) and worked at a few insurance companies.
At some point, my wife decided that we needed to start a business. I probably don’t need to tell you that my B.F.A. didn’t really prepare me to do managerial accounting. So I had to learn, and more importantly, i had to learn how to get people to hire me when there were many other people offering the same service (at wildly different price points).
I had to figure it out, so i did (and you can too).
Our business took off pretty quickly, and we were earning within the top 10% of my industry within the first 18 months. I started getting hired to travel around the country and help other new entrepreneurs figure out the same things I did.
Fast Forward almost 20 years.
I’ve been helping companies define their mission/vision, define and implement their marketing and communications profiles, and realign internal processes to make the most of limited (but powerful) resources.
