To carve out a position in the market and really make an impact, a small organization needs to uncover a competitive advantage and leverage the hell out of it.
That’s how I view growth strategy in a nutshell.
There is a process to uncovering that competitive advantage - you have to really listen to your audience and care about them in order to find a real human truth (the kind of thing that everyone thinks and no one talks about). If you build your business around how your desired audience feels and what they really need, you can construct your business to serve a need that is currently going unmet.
